FOREWORD

The Seventh Craniofacial Congress had its final session on November 22, 2003.
The event has been highly successful due to the vast number of participants and the scientific value of the works presented in this ancient library, Bologna’s oldest.
Following up this event, the list of acts and publications of the congress was presented today. These documents represent and in depth analysis of the topics introduced during the conference and an important reference on the subject.
It is therefore my final duty as congress chair to present this volume to the public.
I would like to close this wonderful and educational experience by thanking all the participants and all the people who have made this possible. I look forward to see all of you at the upcoming Eight Congress. I also hope that the next event would be very successful in the spirit of European cooperation as it has been the case in Bologna.
