FOREWORD

Progress in technology and results of clinical studies continuously improves the capability of cardiologists of effectively treating cardiac arrhythmias by using non pharmacological strategies.
The recent congress “Progress in Clinical Pacing” focused on the state-of-the-art status of devices, implantation and electrophysiology techniques application in current clinical approach.
In this book the main works presented at the Symposium are included. They focus on cardiac resynchronization therapy, atrial fibrillation, cardiac pacing, syncope, ICD, electrophysiology and radiofrequency ablation techniques for atrial and ventricular tachyarrhythmias.
